Well, I've decided to do Disney Princess fanarts, so heres the first, my oldest sister's favourite, Ariel from the Little Mermaid. I'll even offer the first commenter to choose the next princess I colour and submit. Enjoy it.
Took about 12 hours all together, sketched with .7 mm mech pencil and photoshop CS2
Lineart and Colouring (c) Me Ariel and the Little Mermaid (c) Disney
I'm loving the background in this, as I can't do backgrounds at ALL lol. You're coloring is also extremely good. Very well done all around. The pose is great because it's so... different from other pics of this characters. Excellent Job.
And I noticed your note about the first commenter.. hmmm, well I'm not really a disney fan. However one of the few Disney flicks that I've seen and actually liked was the Hunch Back of Notre Dame... I think the reason I liked it was cause of the darker tone Disney took with that film as opposed to it's normal "Cute and colorful" movies. So I know she's not technically a Disney Princess...but how about Esmerelda?
Thanks, although quite honestly I'm awful at backgrounds lol, this is only my second or third attempt at one in photoshop. And Esmerelda I'm not too familiar with, but I will attempt her. Ironic you chose that movie, most people associate it with me due to my last name lol.
